Surround with GTX550Ti and GTX660Ti

I've got a GTX660Ti running 2 screens and a GTX550Ti running one screen. I'm trying to set up Surround to span games across all 3 screens.

In the Nvidia control panel my 3rd option under 3D Settings has no menu text but I can just about click on it (where the first character should be). This takes me to the PhysX and Surround Configuration screen.

If I check 'Span displays with Surround' the configure button below and enabled but clicking on it does nothing. Also it changes my PhysX settings Processor to CPU and I cant adjust the drop down to anything else.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers (310.90). I'm running Win7 64 bit SP1.

You must have all displays hooked to one card, or an SLI setup to use surround. What you are trying to do is not possible. You must hook all 3 monitors up to the 660Ti. You can sell the 550Ti or use it for physx but you cannot use it for surround

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've got a SLI strip between the 2 cards and I think my motherboard supports SLI (Nvidia 132-CK-NF78) does that help or do I still need to connect all 3 screens to the 660Ti?

They all have to go to the 660Ti. You can only SLI the same model of card, i.e. another 660Ti. Doesnt work between different models
