Problem with my LCD TV

hi guys
My full HD 24 LCD is dead right now
so
I'm using Toshiba LCD TV 21inch

but
I used to play on 1600x900 or 1920x1080
this TV supports them but when I select one of it gives a black sides or wavy screen or even full waves and I can't see anything until I press esc
and when I run the 1400x900 resloution
it works but there's no task bar and the screen is bit bended

so is there's any way to fix this issue please ?

I tried to look for another display port but only found the blue no HDMI OR DVI
so can anyone help please
