Streaming

Hello,

I want to stream from my p.c., via wireless network, to my A/V receiver. I'm guessing the receiver must have a dongle in one of its HDMI inputs, (as the DVD machine had for Netflix), but if so, how/what do I effect transmission from the p.c.? Anyone who can provide instructions and recommendations will be worshipped, if but from afar. I am moderately literate with this stuff, but far from facile, or expert. Thank you.

Your receiver would have to be capable of a network connection, which most do not have. I stream music with an optical TOSlink from a nearby computer. Many DVD players have a built in network adapter, which is why your player could access Netflix.
