Cleaning my GPU.

So my gtx 670 is about 5 months old now.And i see lots of dust has fallen on the exposed side of the card.I was thinking about cleaning it.I have a small paint brush which is very thin and soft.Is it safe to clean it with it?Will it create and static problem?I don't want to waste money buying compressed air.

It is fine.make sure that brush is fully clean and handle softly.
