Random black screen?

I've recently gotten an HD 7870 Joker and while playing PlanetSide 2 the game randomly blackscreens but the audio remains, when I restart the computer it runs normally for roughly another half an hour before crashing to black screen again.

It is overclocked (1150 and 1550) but in benchmarks this never happens, only while gaming...I'll try running PS2 on stock and see what happens.

I'll just show you the temps and speeds off of GPUZ:

GPU Core Clock [MHz] , GPU Memory Clock [MHz] , GPU Temperature [°C] , Fan Speed (%) [%], GPU Load [%]
925.0 1500.0 69.0 36 78
1130.0 1580.0 67.0 36 43

Those are from my last two black screens, nothing seems odd to me there.

36% fan speed seems awfully low for those temps, are you controlling it manually instead of with a curve? And yeah, default it to stock clocks. It sounds like an unstable OC.

I have it set to auto, should I switch to manual? what % should I put it to?

I think I've fixed it by reducing the speeds slightly and increasing cooling manually.
