Can changing the graphics card fan speed break the fans?

So lately iv been gaming alot and i dont want to let me gpu get too hot so i drag the fan speed up to like about 80 and then when im done ill put it back down to like 50. Will doing that a few times a day break the fans on it? My gpu is a asus geforce gtx 560ti DC II Top factory oced to 900mhertz and i oced it to 950mhertz

The graphics card should do that by itself.

Iv tried that but somehow when i put it on automatic it still stays at like 20% when at 56 C. I have used Asus Gpu tweak and msi afterburner

You have done as they recommend?


56 degrees is nothing. You should be worried if you were hitting 80 degrees at 20% fan.
