Just upgraded computers (I do NOT have many options as I am currently stationed in South Korea, so I have a very generic HP Pavilion P6-2310 with a AAHD2-HY "Holly 2" motherboard)
I kept my GTX 570 and Corsair TX650 PSU, however I cannot get my GTX 570 to install/be recognized by my computer. I'm positive it's compatible with this motherboard, and the card ran beautifully on my previous computer.
I have tried uninstalling the onboard card, restarting the computer with the GTX 570 and I get no monitor/video input (6 beeps on startup)
I can't find in BIOS how to bypass the PCI to PCI-E (or anything else for that matter).
I managed to get it to work at on point, and went to EVGA to install the Windows 8 drivers for the GTX 570 (my installation disc is only good for up to W7), but on restart it resumed the no-video error. From that point no cards (including the onboard) would load and I had to restore to factory and start from square one, and still no luck.
Computer is 2 days old, GTX 570 was consistently kept under 65*C and wasn't overclocked for anything south of Skyrim.
