How do I get the best performance with 7870

Hi guys, I have a 7870 hawk and I'm wondering what software I should install to get the best performance out of my 7870. I have the catalyst 13.2 beta installed but I don't think I uninstalled the outdated version of catalyst before I installed the 13.2, will it have any affect on the performance of my card? thanks in advance

It shouldn't, errors only usually pop up when rolling back Catalyst versions.

You can get MSI Afterburner and OC your 7870 to clocks you want that it can handle. This is only if the 7870 doesn't suffice for any game you're using it for though. Otherwise, it's just a waste.

He is speaking in code, possibly urging you to download MSI Afterburner which you should and then overclocking it to 1250MHz, which you should attempt. Search on Google / Youtube on how to overclock a graphics card using MSI Afterburner.

Just download the latest 13.2 beta5 from amds website.

It's most likely an outdated version. ALWAYS get the driver from AMD

Msi will try their best to update their driver suits but they need to get them from somewhere and that would be from Amd. Like the others have said, Amd will have what you need sooner.
