Hey guys i just got guild wars 2 because my system passes on the 'canirunthis' website. I dont know why i lag, it could be internet or my specs.
I also downloaded APB: Reloaded - this has similar minimum specs as guild wars 2. In APB Reloaded i dont lag at all not even in high settings. I play smooth as a riddle
Also i should say sometimes my fps goes to 40 then drops right down again to about 15. And when i rotate my screen it drops even lower to about 5 FPS. (All on low graphics and v-syn and all that stuff are off)
What really grinds my gears is that my friend has an Intel HD 3000 intergrated graphics and he can play smoothly on meduim-low. He has 1.3Ghz dual and i5.
I will be getting an ethernet cable soon, but im not sure thats the problem. It'd be so helpful of you guys could help me.
