Greetings,
Just thought if someone have checked what this unit has eaten and could say
if it is possible to make work as a standalone unit (analog to spdif
converter and / or vs.)
It is right priced pretty good sounding (what I have seen, not heard) and
very tiny little box.

I don't think so: it's powered and controlled thru the USB interface.

Hm.. too bad - for example Edirol UA-5 is possible to work this way after
little tweak but
things might be different in this if AD/DA and USB controller is in very
same chip.
