I just delited an IMPORTANT file (a stuped program did when it crashed), and i want it back even if i have 2 kill the harddrive to get it!!!

Yes i did turn my computer off DIRECTLY after it was delited. I have removed it from the computer & installed it all over again on another harddrive (loaner).

Now in testing/looking for a program that can undelit/recover that file. I have tested 5-6 programs (includibg northon systemworks). BUT non of then can handle NTFS (win2000).

pls pls pls HELP!

can you get a copy of the file? If so, just pop the drive into another system running 2K or XP or NT 4.0 and place the file on the disk.

Check out Active Uneraser DOS 1.0 on CNET.com. It can do NTFS.
