I have a kind of off-brand laptop because its a DIY. So it's a bit tricky trying to find support for it.
It's a OCZ DIY part number: OCZDIY17A2-BM88XTX2 (Crossfire edition with blu-ray)

Here is the site for it: http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-diy-17-gaming-notebook-intel-ati-crossfire-edition-eol.html

I want to know if I can replace the outdated ATI Radeon HD3870 dual cards in it with something a bit better. I know that you cannot use dual Nvidia on a crossfire because of the motherboard design. I just want to know if I can indeed use a better card, and what would be the best card I could put in it.

Thanks in advance :wahoo:

its an incredibly weak laptop with an incredibly weak cpu.....
nowadays changing the gpu isnt everything...
your cpu should be top notch in order to coordinatively perform with the high end gpu's and prevent bottleneck.......
better cpus are also necessary for every cpu intensive game(nowadays almost every game) out there.....

so even if replacement of your gpu is possible, you will be wasting your time and money regardless....(get a better laptop altogether)

a centrino 2 for gaming.....awwww..never.....!!!!!
