Complaints on integrated/discrete "Switching"?

In researching a new laptop, I've noticed with some Graphics Card setups, the computer will switch between the an integrated/discrete based on immediate need.

Any reason to avoid this type of set up? Only positive? Thoughts, please.

Well the reason to stay clear of integrated setups is because your graphics will be pulling memory from your system ram to power your graphics. And you can tell by this that it probably won't be nearly as fast nor efficient. Discrete is the way to go. But I would do research just because for example a computer says 660M doesn't mean its as fast as a normal GTX660.
