Overclocking 7970

Hey i have a Gigabyte hd7970 and it came with oc guru 2 its comes at 1000mhz gpu and 1375mhz memory
was wondering how i go about overclocking it using oc guru ?

Try using trixx. To get high overclocks, you will probably need to up the voltage.

make sure you know what your doing, and make sure you check the temps and the remain at 74 celsius or lower on heavy load

I don't think Trixx works on Gigabyte cards? Correct me if I'm wrong though.

OC Guru is from Gigabyte itself, so you get assured compatibility, but I haven't tried it myself. MSI Afterburner is what I usually use and recommend, it works on any brand as far as I know.

ill prolly try afterburner havent really needed to overclock the 7070 does pretty good already.
new to overclocking so any advice on changing the voltage, gpu clock speed, and mem. speed please let me know!
