Im trying to install a new hard drive for my friends computer. I have a working Windows 7 boot disk, I've used it on my desktop I built as well as just checked using my laptop. It booted up fine the first time but I think it went wrong some how and all that popped up were weird symbols. Now every time I try booting it up again the "push any key to boot from CD" prompt is displayed and even though I push enter immediately the screen just goes blank to black. Sometimes it has a blinking white line on the top left corner.
Ive tested both the hard drive and the cd on my laptop and everything runs fine. Does anyone have an idea? Im getting super frustrated here...
