No you can't throw in a new GPU into a laptop, there is no PCI-e lane for you to use anyways. When laptops have graphics chip-sets they are soldered onto the motherboard or in your case you get intels HD graphics. So you can't upgrade a laptop in terms of graphic performance, sorry. Hope i helped,

In the case of his, no you cant. But gaming-grade laptops do have removable and upgradeable graphics card via an internal mini-PCI-e lane. Even some entertainment grade laptops are like that. There is a higher end version of my laptop that has a removable HD4650.
