HD 7850 for TV

I was gonna buy a HD 7850 to replace my 5450 and I was wondering if the HD 7850 can play movies and games like the 5450 in my LED TV because I didn't saw the HDTV feature in HD 7850. Dumb question but the HDTV feature is the one to be able to use the GPU in the LED TV?

yes you can use the 7850 with a tv. it does have the hdcp (high definition content protection) feature
