PSU not good enough? or CPU bottleneck?

Hey guys, having trouble getting my 2 MSI twin frozr III HD 7950's over the clock setting of 880/1100, which is actually lower than the stock clock. Im curious of whether this could be related to my power supply not being able to supply enough power? my specs are in my signature, im running a zephyr MX 750 watt psu and was wondering if i should upgrade it? is it the problem? what would be sufficient power? also, im planning on upgrading to an i7-3770k soon, definitely OC!!

Uhm... how in the world are we going to know if your CPU is holding you back if you don't tell us what CPU you have?

Also, don't waste money on the i7 - the only difference between it and an i5-3570k is that the i7 has hyperthreading, which games either don't use or are actually slowed down by.

750w should be enough. that being said, your power supply has 4 12v rails, each rail is putting out 19A, which i wouldnt think is enough for 7950's.

I am using an i5-2500k running at 4.2 ghz, sorry lol its in my signature, but truly, i dont know what else could be the cause of the low performance. :/
