Hello

I just bought a GTX 560 and was wondering if it is a good card.

I looked at the 550 and 650 but they were both below the 560 in gpu power.

Is there something else I should look for? I only have about 100-150 to spend on a gpu.

ok......thnxxxx...
so that card can max anything at a res of 1600*900 with AA on....
if you are playing on 1920*1200, then also it can max almost everything except the witcher 2 with ubersampling and crysis 3 at ultra....

its a very decent card and you dont need to get another one if you are playing on the above mentioned conditions....

but if u are running 5 monitors at 2560*1920(which i guess you are not) , better upgrade...!!

you sure that you can get a 560 in that budget....?????

if yes then go for it.....
because the gtx560 is an awesome gpu and it is able to max almost everything out there at 1080p with AA off.....

and i have a doubt//.....
you said that you bought a 560 ...
then you are saying that which gpu should you get????!!!!!????!!!!

dont make such puzzling threads...be clear in what you want......

It depends on your resolution and if you want to max out demanding games with AA (for example BF3).

I would say its a capable card even at 1080p just don't expect to be playing BF3/Crysis 2/Metro 2033 on Ultra (should be very playable on High though).

Its very hard to recommend a 560 when you have 7850's really close to that price range honestly the 150 dollar price range. You can find cards that get awfully close to that and would give you far superior performance to what you would get from a non ti 560.

Hello I bought the card for cheap but I am wondering if it is good.
If not I would take it back and get a different one.

To be honest I own 2 in SLI but couldn't imagine running just one, playing the games as of today. I would get a 7850,7950 or 660ti,670. I do have the 2gb versions of the 560's which make the AA a little easier but if I only had one I would be upgrading by now. Just my opinion tho if you got a good price it will be good service card for med to high graphic settings.

Well I wouldn't go as far to say that I would say that any of the modern games your BF3, your FAR CRY 3, Batman AC, Metro 2033 would have quite a hard time maxing out those games with the 560 non ti card. If you were able to take it back and get a 1 gigabyte 7850 I would say you would be far happier.
