6870 or GTX650 for video editing

The store that Im looking forward to buy my new set of computers recently dropped their price of 6870. It went below the baseline GTX 650s of any brand. I will use this card for video editing. Is there any disadvantage or advantage of using AMD, I understand the GTX has CUDA cores which will help in adobe software, but does AMD has an equivalent? or is it worth it?

AMD use Open CL and almost all programs can use both video card manufacturer technologies...

Pick the one you want, however i think the 6870 will be faster as the "kepler" card are a little slow in CUDA computing (my old 560ti beats my 680 in F@H and VideoStudio 12)

Isnt it only Macs can use OpenCL? wll it work with after effects, 3dsmax?
