On the beta it wasn't possible to pull playable numbers on "max". That includes anti-aliasing.
So with 8x msaa and very high may be possible. But the game has been out for a day. So not too many people know...

even an hd 5450 will RUN crysis 3 on max.....
it'll be a kind of walking though.....lol....

what frame rate do you consider as playable depends a lot......
if u consider 35+ as playable, then yes you can max it.......
if you consider it as 100000+ then sorry, you cant max it.....

some people consider anything above 1+ as playable...for them an hd 5450 can max it......

so maxing out a game is a very relative and individual dependant term.....
hope you got your answer....

My 670 will get about 30 fps when maxing out everything in the campaign.

In multiplayer I have very high settings and 2xAA (I want to say MSAA, but not positive about that.) That gets me about 60fps - still haven't played with what it takes to get 120fps yet.

I have the same GPU and CPU and the answer is no. I have to dial back the settings to high in order to get playable frame rates. I set the system spec to high and enable FXAA and the game runs flawlessly. You need a crossfire rig or a 690 to run Crysis 3 at Max settings, not including AA.

you will not going to max out Crysis 3 unless you're using highest level MSAA available in the game :)

btw PC Perspective did bench Crysis 3 with their Titan review. they include GTX680 and 7970Ghz as well.
