Need help to see if this GPU fits in my Mobo. Please help!!!!!!

Hello all I am trying to see if this GPU will fit into my MOBO

GPU

You see i am 100% sure that itll fit into the slot considering that it is a PCI x16. The issue is, as u can see on my MOBO,on the right of the Blue GPU slot is a Gold/Copper MSI logo that is sticking out. I am not sure if that will interfere with the HD6770's fan fitting, since it is a bigger graphics card (I think...). What do you guys think?

It wont hit the gpu, because it doesnt pertrude any farther out than a PCIe slot does, so it wont hit anything. You're good to go buddy.

By the way, you're using socket 775? If you dont have a core 2 quad, Ebay has q6600's for 40$

Thanks for the prompt response sir. And yea im still using a 775 >< and thats exactly what i did, bought an q6600 off ebay for 50$ . I have another question. So im thinking of buying a new Cooler/heatsink for my q6600 and was wondering if this would fit in my MOBO as well. Would i have to measure to figure out if it will fit?

It will fit, I have one on my socket 775 motherboard, you just might have to move the attachted fan around, or move both of the RAM modules to the right one space.
