Is a gtx 650 with 2gb good for gaming?

Can this run games like Far Cry 3, or any games like fc3 on medium settings?

I doubt it. Radeon hd 7770 which is faster gets around 35 fps.

R7850 is the best price/perform. or, if you can't shell out 40 more then get 650ti, if you can't shell out that $20 more then get HD 7770. Thats the minimum I'd recommend

What is your CPU? If there is no bottleneck then it should be just fine.
