I just took out my nvidia gts 240 OEM that came with my Dell studio 540 desktop. I have a 350 watt PSu and I bought a EVGA gt 640 card.
I unhooked the gts 240 OEM after removing the drives from dd/remove programs.
I plugged the new card into and sealed the case. When I booted up the computer again it was asking for safe mode and when I turn it on now the windows comes on but the display res is min and I cant scroll in menus al the wy down. I have the nvidia drivers the latest one from their site.
I really dont have any money to take it to repair shop. If you can help me get my windows working with my gt 640 id be in your debt!
basically when I boot up now windows does com on WIN 7, and the resolution and pages when displayed are all minimum and I cant scroll to press accept on any installation menus.
