no file share

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.broadbandnet.hardware (More info?)

I set up a network with 3 computers one wired (base)xp home
and two wireless are xp home and winME. All are able to
use printers on base but the 2 xp home are unable to access
or change files; they are able to see the file. The
message reads "access denied". Any ideas?
file sharing is enabled, everything is shared, the
computers can see eachother and the network is set up fine
with wep
