Go into bios, make sure video output is set to pci express and not to onboard. Install the card and run.. update your bios first. What Power supply are you running?

May be a dumb question but did you move the monitor cable from the motherboard (Integrated GPU) to the GTX 260? All power connectors necessary for the card are connected to it?

Plug the card in. Then plug the display cable into the motherboards VGA port. If you get display then it's not a PSU problem.

you have both 6pin connectors hooked to video card?

can you try the card in another pci-e slot?

did you try hooking the dvi cable to the other receptor on the back of the card?

You mentioned it having 25 amps bro. That's like a 400w power supply :o  See if you can borrow a PSU from someone and test it out. Oh and do not get the X1950 Pro whatever. There's a world of difference between the GTX260 and that card. The GTX260 is like 10x better
