like the title mentions deciding on what to get for my gaming/hackintosh desktop.

i believe the 670gc has better osx support, but im currently using a amd radeon 6700 with eyefinity support (3x 1980x1200 display) so i was thinking of using the 6700 with the 7970 when i boot into osx.

looking to upgrade the video card and i play games every now and then, so im in no real rush if the nvidia titan ends up lowering the price of these cards.

The NVidia Tital will never be that cheap.

Also you can't run 6770 with either of those cards. You would have to get the 670 or 7970 and take out the 6770. I would recommend the 7970, since you're already familiar with the eyefinity, it is faster than the 670 anyways and will overclock and be faster than a 680.

You won't be able to use the two cards at the same time (any combination). They are all very different architectures. In terms of driver support, you'd probably be better off with the 670 (for the reasons you listed), though I've never used hackintosh, so take that with a grain of salt.

The Titan is priced at about $1000, so it won't cause a price drop.

About the 7970, it is faster than the 670, and you'd have fewer driver headaches if you picked the 7970 (since you are already using a Radeon).

Personally, I'd go with the 7970.

In addition to what the above ppl said, dont forget to check what connections the card you want to buy offers. Some 7970's have different outputs than others depending on brands or editions.

I'm sure you could go that route. I think that people above me assumed that you wanted to crossfire the two Radeons which isn't possible
