Installs OS 3.5 on Palm Vx

Forum Cell Phones & Smartphones : Palmpilot Installs OS 3.5 on Palm Vx

I'm running OS 4.1 now, but it breaks some of my programs
So I'd like to downgrade it to OS 3.5
But when I running the OS 350 installation kit (PalmOS350_ENG_PalmVx.exe),
it first installs PalmDesktop, and request a HotSync
after HotSync, there's a message on Palm to reset it
The installation program said that after resetting the handheld, the "Next"
button will active, and the installation procedure proceed
but after waiting for a long long time, that button is still inactive
I've tried this procedure many times, but it still doesn't work
Is there any other way downgrading OS ? or is there anyone who know how to
solve my problem ?

Thanks in advance

I'm afraid I can't, the next version is for OS 5 only ...

I can install OS 3.3, the procedure is the same with OS 3.5
But after downgrading to OS 3.3, I still cannot succeed installing OS 3.5
That "Next" button is always inactive :<
Can I execute "write flash" program (if any) without FastInstall ?

Just go into Advanced Mode by clicking the lower-left, Advanced tab
(which comes up, I believe, right after the Desktop Installation phase
-- which you can bypass). The program will walk you through a hard
reset, and then allow you to browse for the ROM you want to install. I
know it works because I had to use this method to upgrade my IBM Workpad
30x (Palm IIIx) to OS 4.1. (The normal installation would not recognize
the WordPad as a valid choice, even though it is hardware identical to
the IIIx.)

Good luck.
