PCI-E 3.0 doubt

i have a gigabyte H67 mobo, i can place a 22nm processor and with a bios update will run, but , will this mean that, if i also place a PCI Express 3.0 graphics card in the PCI Express 2.0 slot of the mobo, will activate 3.0?

It won't activate 3.0 but it will work fine because it's backward compatible

All the PCI gens are backwards compatible, your Gen3 card will work in a Gen2 slot, though you wont get the full bandwidth of Gen3.
But that doesn't really matter, PCI Gen3 is only important when your talking things like PCI RAID cards and SSD solutions, the highest end graphics cards will run in Gen2 8x slots just fine.
