HD 6850 Problem

ok so my 6850 works fine. the problem is the colors http://i.imgur.com/iGKr1WF.jpg

my drivers are updated. is my gpu broken?

Looks normal to me. If your using an S-Video to component adapter, make sure the cable isnt frayed and make sure its plugged in all of the way.

also looks normal to me. if you are the only one it looked strange to, it could be your monitor.

Screenshot is totally normal. Like it's been said already try using a different cable (or cable port) to your monitor or a different monitor entirely.

If you're still having issues then yes it's possible that your GPU is kaputt. Do you also get color issues at desktop or during BIOS POST?

I dont get any color issues in my desktop/bios. I only get color issues in CS:GO and MW3

The color issue started happening after i reset my Catalyst Control Center settings back to default.

Could be a corrupted driver. You might want to try completely uninstalling all AMD drivers by first running the AMD uninstaller then running Driver Fusion and CCleaner (both 3rd party applications) to remove any remnants of the AMD drivers (the AMD uninstaller is notoriously bad at completely removing all traces of the drivers).

Driver Fusion isn't free but the trial works fine and CCleaner is totally free and a pretty awesome utility for registry cleanup.

Thanks. I fixed my problem it was my DVI cable the whole time, i switched to hdmi and now the colors look good. I ordered a new dvi cable though. Thanks for your help
