Hey guys, haven't posted here in awhile, so i thought this might be a good question to ask. I'm looking into upgrading the GPU in my Dell Precision T3400, which i believe has a 525W PSU stock. I would like a card which can drive 3 monitors and be in my stock PSU's power output if possible, all without breaking the bank. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated, thanks
Here's some info which might aid in answering:
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: I won't be purchasing this until late April, but i am starting to do my research now on it. Budget wise, really depends on if i need a bigger PSU or not, but i would like to keep the card price to around $150-200 if possible.
USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: This will be used as my main machine, so it'll need to handle a bunch of different things, like video production/rendering, animation rendering, graphics programs, and i would love for it to be able to take Crysis. I have been waiting a long time to be able to afford a card which can take it.
CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Nvidia Quadro FX1700 512MB dual DVI with stock 525W PSU
MONITOR RESOLUTION: Since i would like ti to drive 3, I was going to have 2x 1920x1200 and 1x 1024x1280, so 2 landscape and one vertical monitor.
