Hello,

I have an MP3 player (Some chinese product) which had no drivers or anything. I used it well before. I could access the memory of the player without any trouble on my Win XP machine. After my XP crashed, I load Win 7 on my system. Now I am unable to access the memory part of it. When i insert the player to my computer - it asks for "format" but when i opt it to continue, it gives back an error saying "Windows cannot format - Check to see that disk and drive are connected properly, make sure that the disk is not read-only, and the try again." Please help me resolve this issue... Is my player corrupted or completely dead?

its just that win 7 is not reading your player, try in another win xp pc. If working fine.. then the player is not fit for win 7 pc.

Hi Jenev, Thanks for the reply. I tried connecting it to an XP system as well. but no luck. :(
Please suggest if you have anything more on your mind.
