When i try to install google chrome frome internet explorer it downloads but say

I have windows 7 & are trying to download google chrome. It downloads fine, but then it says cannot connect to internet. What do i do?

So it downloads, but did you actually run the setup and get a desktop/taskbar icon for Chrome?
