Does the GTX 6xx graphics cards have bad OpenCL performance?

I remember seeing something about the OpenCL performance of Kepler but they said it wasn't that good or something? What was that all about?

Compute performance on the 6xx cards is crippled and worse than the 5xxs. This generation AMD added good compute performance and Nvidia dropped it to try and have faster graphics (which didn't really work out since AMD won that too). It is.part of why they use less power though

That depends on the app, the 6xx's have a higher PPD than their 5xx counterparts in F@H for instance but I will agree that it's out of proportion if you compare core counts.
