Solution
so, just to get a replacement card it would be a PCI card. they still have those.

my mistake thinking it was agp?..... but without seeing the board.... I already jumped to one conclusion.

I would just say buy a whole new computer and look into the APU's from AMD if you are looking for an upgrade. You can buy a whole "new" computer for under $200 which makes me question why you want an upgrade on such an antiquated setup. I would not recommend getting anything beyond a gt610 or gt520 since you are extremely bottlenecked by that really crappy celeron. My atom in my netbook is faster than that processor to put it in comparison.

but it says BFG. wouldn't it say nvidia if it were onboard?

been a long time since I dealt with AGP anything... ???

now I see this:

"DirectX Shader Model 3.0
OpenGL Support 2.0
Bus Interface PCI "

so does that mean it's pci-e? and I see shader model 3.0....... it might not be agp....borderline.......

be nice to have a picture of the naked board.

thanks for catching that. now I'm confused.

Agreed with the masses above. A new PC would blow you away with the performance. Even if you cannot build your own, you could pick one up for probably $300-$400 that'd destroy your current system in every way. If you cannot spend that much on a system now, you should just save and do it.
