CS sound

Real stupid question here. updated HL to ver 8, then updated CS to ver 1.3. Did my whole little sound thingy and the test completed just fine. So, playing online I notice that I have no speaker next to my name. No one can here me, I can here them. Any ideas? I have DSL connection running through an Netgear RT314 gate router.

You mean, go into configuration and assign a voice key?
Yea, did that. Hold down the voice key, and the speaker pops up on the screen, Nothing!

Here is how you enable voice in cs.

When the match starts pull down the console using the ~ key.

Type the following commands...

voice_enable 1 <ENTER>

voice_loopback 1 <enter>

Hit the ~ key again to exit the console, and while in the game test out the voice feature. You should now be able to hear your own voice, and also see your name in the right side of the screen. You can skip the loopback command if you dont want to hear your voice. Be aware that you will have to type in these commands everytime that you enter a server, unless you save them in your half life config.
