Currently I have a Nvidia Geforce 8600 GTS. Has dual dvi and s video output. No Complaints! However, what I am looing for is VGA and HDMI outputs.
My Monitor is a Samsung LED 19".
I have a Dell XPS 410.
My pcie is 1.1
q6700 for cpu
ddr-2 800mhz @ 8 gig
Windows 7 Professional

I am currently using an adapter. ( dvi-vga ). That is not the point. I would like to use the hdmi for both video and audio.
I watch blue ray, etc... The only game that is played is "Men of War" (entire series). On my other 410 I use the vga to monitor, and hdmi to LCD for movies. I am using a AMD card for that one, and yes I did try to use same card for second 410, but unfortunetly it will not load amd drivers. WHY? Don't know, don't care, tried everything, and gave up.
So .... this piticular 410 likes Nvidia and thats fine. I would just like an opion on which Nvidia with Hdmi out would be the best for my system.

sincerely,

Ken

decent graphics cards can be expensive.

are you using an LCD TV or an LCD monitor with built in speakers?

I am using a 19" Samsung LED TV with built in speakers as a monitor. Thats why I want to use HDMI, with a card that can feed both audio and video. I can play games, or watch a Blue Ray, etc...

Hummm...,

Not interested in adapters or cables. I guess if you can't help me I'll just wing it. Remember Nvidia only.
My budget is $135.00.

I installed a 550 ti, made by gigabyte. Works fine. Has HDMI and VGA outputs.
I also installed the PowerColor AX7770 on the other 410, both cards work great!
Thanks lxgoldsmith

Thanks
