Pc/Laptop Diablo2/Lan

I want to thank everyone in advance for helping me. I have been working on this for a full day now and can't figure out why it is not working.

I have two computer on the same network a pc and a laptop that is wireless. When I host a game with the pc everything is fine but when I host a game with the laptop, when i join with me PC Diablo 2 tells me "Unable to Join"

Both game have exceptions for the diablo2.exe, and firewall allowances.

also the router have been port forward for diablo 2

i put in my PC ip should i also put my laptop ip in?

I feel dumb i found out the problem I cant enter a game where the host is a lower act them me
