we bought a samsung blu-ray player with WI-FI built in. We hooked up HDMI cable as requested. Set our wireless network, interrnet, etc, however, we keep getting disconnected from the internet and rebuffering. Any suggestions?
If your blu ray player has a built in signal strength meter, try running it. It sounds like you don't have a good wi-fi signal. You may have to reposition your wireless router or blu ray player to get a better signal. Worse case, you can always hard wire the blu ray player if it has an ethernet port.
It sounds like possible Wifi signal problems... there might be interferance. So i ask you whats stuff you have set up close to the Blueray?
We have nothing close to the Blu-Ray. It seems we may have to hard wire it to the modem, however, that consists of running cable wire from the office to the living room. There is no option to moving this equipment anywhere else as the connections are only in one area of the room. Thank you for your response.
