I have the hidef Tivo. How does Tivo decide which shows to delete if the
hard drive fills up. I cannot be certain, but it seems to me that my Tivo
deleted West Wing from 3/2/05 even though I have a whole bunch of shows
dated earlier (in Feb '05), that were not deleted. I would have thought that
Tivo would delete the oldest shows first. All shows in question appear with
a yellow exclamation mark on the left side, so they have all no priority.
Does any know?

If the West Wing was recorded because of a Season Pass or Wishlist, check
your "Keep at Most" settings for it on your Season Pass Manager. Most
likely, the episode got 'bumped' by a newer recording of the West Wing.
There are lots of other reasons, but check that first.

Yup, that definitely was a Season Pass. I usually don't fall that far
behind, but I've been busy. Thanks for the tip.
