Frustrated by the slow Internet and looking for your advice / thoughts ...

ISP: Comcast cable (~16MB service)

For the last couple of months, Internet is slow / very slow.
Frequently it is "waiting for site ..." but more often it is "waiting for ad.doubleclick...".
Testing internet speeds on various sites yields reasonable results.

Any thoughts?

Forgot to mention - using the "default" DNS is almost impossible, so changed it a long time ago to use Google's DNS service (on the Router settings).
