Long time reader, first time poster here, but I can't seem to find an answer to my question. I have a computer that I built myself which uses an AMD Radeon HD 6950 IceQ-X 2GB and is connected to three three monitors (using DVI, active mini-DP to DVI, and an HDMI cable).
Periodically I like to change that third monitor from running on my 22" Asus to my 42" TV (e.g., watching a movie or online shows with someone else). My question revolves around scaling. The television will be too zoomed in and so I use Catalyst Control Center to scale it back until it fits, but then when I unplug the TV HDMI cable and replug in the monitor one, its scaled down with black borders around the edges.
Ok, no problems there obviously, my question is that since CCC can tell what hardware the GPU is currently plugged into -I know because choose while choosing the display that I want to scale it changes "VE228" to "Panasonic TV" or vice versa- can I set it so that it will automatically calibrate the scaling based on whichever display the HDMI cable is currently connected to?
