On Friday evening, my monitor worked fine. When I turned it on the next morning, the only activity I get is in the upper left hand corner, it flashes HDMI, and then ANALOG. When that disappears, there is a black screen. At one point it allowed me to select the MENU option in the lower right hand corner. I displayed SETUP / RESET. All other options were grayed out. When I selected that option, I saw another option of PC over AV. I was not able to toggle between the two. I was only allowed to go back to MENU. Nothing else.

What graphics card do you use? Also have you tried connecting another monitor to your pc?

I tried everything possible. I finally found the answer - a Firmware update. I Googled "Samsung SA350H Firmware, and got a link that worked. I don't remember the link straightaway, but it worked. Thank you for responding.

The answer was to download the firmware to the monitor. I did this and everything was wonerful.
