hi lucida
nokia 2260 and 3560 is tdma phone. only at&t have accsess to move the
your personal info from 2260 to 3560. tdma phone don't use sim card and
only service provider have right to move the service from one phone to
another. not like gsm phone, just put your sim to your new phone and
your ready to go.flashing is not the problem of this phone, just give
at&t a ring and they take care of this matter. unlocking is hard to
tdma phone. in order to get the code, unlocking generator need you imei
number but tdma phone don't have imei number they have esn number in
which only service provider have accsess. you can still unlock tdma
phone but you gonna need a data cable and software to unlock this kind
of phone. the most important is, you have to know what you are doing. i
hope this will help you.

They were wrong. (It's not the first time!) Perhaps they confused
3560 with 3650 which is a GSM phone. Previously Nokia used the last
two digits of the model number to indicate what technology the phone
was for e.g. xx60 for TDMA, XX70/85 for CDMA, XX90 for GSM. That's no
longer the case. The 3560 is definitely TDMA and is among the last
two recent TDMA phones that Nokia made.

I tried last night about transfering my data by calling AT&T and they said
that the phone that I got was a gsm phone which was weird. It does says
Cingular Extended on the screen. The reason I purchased the phone was that
the Nokia 3560 is a TMDA phone. But at AT&T they told me that the phone is
locked. So I have to go to an AT&T Store to get it unlocked... I had bought
some software to unlock the phone but haven't got it I am going to try it if
that doesn't work I will have to go to AT&T Store. Thanks anyway.
