Hey there,

my girlfriend is using a Dell Workstation PC with an ATI FireGL V3600 for her jobs as a media designer.
The fan of her card is broken, so we have the option to change the cooler for about 14€ or buy a new graphics card.
My question is if she has a budget of about 60€ for a new card is it wise to change or is the performance of her old card for her kind works still better?

Thanks :)

it surely hasn't to be a FireGL or Quadro card. My question wasn't specific enough, I ment to buy a normal PC graphics card. Because the V3600 is a pretty old model I thought a low budget GeForce or Radeon model would have a better performance, also in rendering etc., than the old workstation card.

Thanks :)
