I have been using WRE54G extender for years and works great with my existing computers. New Kindle Fire sees the extender and is set up using same security etc. but will not connect.
Are they simply incompatable?

You should just edit one post if you want to add info instead of creating new ones.

Why won't it connect? Error messages? Did you check the Kindle specs to see what wifi settings it will work with?

I have checked and there is no reference to the extender itself, however, since it is set up exactly the same as the router is should work, as do my other computers, tv s etc.

sorry about the multiple posts. Occured during my signup and I wasn't familiar with the posting conduct.

Given the extenders operate with all other wi-fi items I own, I wondered if I was missing something with the Kindle. Might have to give them a call.

Thanks,
Bill

If other devices are able to connect, try restarting your Kindle by pressing Home > Menu > Settings > Menu and select "Restart."

The answer, if there is one, will have to come from Kindle. Hope they are able to help. thanks for the responses.
