More Information

I regularly download mp3s and transfer them to minidisc using an analogue audio lead. I would like to do this digitally using the Live! Drive IR that came with my ‘Soundblaster Live 5.1 Platinum’ soundcard. The problem is the optical output on the Live! Drive IR is at a frequency of 48000Hz while I was told my minidisc deck only accepts 44100Hz even though the manual states that it accepts the range 44100-48000Hz. There are also these RCA SPDIF inputs and outputs on the Live! Drive IR. Are these just coaxial sockets? If they are which option do I take - Should I get some sort of optical frequency converter or a coaxial to optical converter (My minidisc deck only has optical inputs)
Thanks
