Your question

NVIDIA nvlddmkm.sys BSOD

February 28, 2013 6:17:12 PM

Last resort here, hopefully I can get some answers.

For the past three weeks I've been experiencing the BSOD when launching games, using the "Adjust Image Settings" in the NVIDIA control panel, or anything involving the NVIDIA graphics processor. For instance, setting Internet Explorer to run with the NVIDIA graphics rather than the integrated graphics causes the crash.

Now what I've done to fix it. I've done the "extract.exe nvlddmkm.sy_" fix, installing older driver versions after fully uninstalling NVIDIA components using DriverSweeper, cleanly installing Windows 7 Professional and only installing the basic Intel Graphics adapter and then the NVIDIA one, and the registry timeout fix. I have also taken it in to professionals to have it checked out there, and they determined that all the hardware is fine, but they couldn't fix it. I also contacted the NVIDIA support staff and they couldn't do anything to help.

So I am essentially at the end of my rope here and I could really use some help.

Thanks in advance for your time.
