Bypass gateway speed limiter

In my campus they restricted our download speed to 30kbps by registering our laptop in gateway.example.com.
It is so ridiculous to download in such a low speed.Even if pages are not opening.So anybody help me to bypass this.

We cannot help you bypass restrictions on a network you do not own. You have the choice to go somewhere that has an unrestricted hotspot for your large downloads
