GTX 670 beats HD 7970

HI

every one here say that hd 7970 is faster than gtx 670 but i watched many benchmarks show that gtx 670 beats hd 7970 in many games !

Hi,

Are the benchmarks you're looking at with newer drivers (12.11 or newer)?

AMD has been working hard on their drivers it seems and are squeezing all the performance out of their cards.

It did when the cards were first released. After the newest drivers from both Nvidia and AMD, the HD7970 is now faster.

Also keep in mind the HD7970 can be pushed to a GHz Edition with minimal effort, making it even faster than the GTX680.

Some games are optimized for Nvidia GPU's, while others are optimized for AMD. In raw power, usually the 7970 wins, but developers sometimes pick a side to optimize first.

Again. What is the date on the review? What drivers are being used? YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THE LATEST YOU CAN FIND TO GET AN ACCURATE ASSESSMENT.

Look at some new (with new drivers) reviews and benchmarks.
